Just Want To Have Some Happiness
Feb 3, 2009

I made him cry yesterday and it was his birthday..  I shared my problem with him.  It seems that my parents don't want him.  They said he has a heart problem.  We mentioned to them that it's called mitral valve prolapse.  The doctors said there should be no worries since it is not a major problem and does not need any treatment.  Why does it have to matter?  My parents said he'll become a burden to me in the future.  What if I was the one who has that heart problem?

My parents did not know that we're together for 3 years already.  He comes to our house and pretends to be my suitor.  Though, sometimes they have a guess that I am already committed to him.

There are a lot of things I've shared to him about how my parents think about him but they said that he is nice.  I feel bad because they don't support me where I'll become happy.  Thoughts flashed before me, I realized there are a lot of things I did not do because they did not allow me.  I thought to become a good daughter so I do what they say.  This time, it's a matter of the heart.  I was hurt to know that they want to introduce someone to me.  This person is a Fil-Am based in US.  I already know their purpose for it, and I don't want to entertain.  It's something to feed their ambitions, too.

My heart was hurt to see his tears fall.  I can't bear the pain I caused him.. I said sorry for the things my parents said about him.  They should not have said it.  He has good intentions for me and I am joyful to be with him.  I can't forget that I made him cry and it was his birthday..

We Were Laughing at Punchline
Jan 13, 2009

January 10, 2009, we went to Punchline at Quezon Ave with my college friends and our significant others (Danna w/ her bf Adrian, Kay, Alma and her husband Carlo, Waylon, Nards and Philip).

carlo, alma, philip, al, me, khay, waylon nards, danna

carlo, alma, philip, al, me, khay, waylon nards, adrian

It was a homecoming treat by Philip who just came from United Kingdom.  (ang taray!)  So it was a bunch of laughters and yes, this was my first time to a comedy bar.  The jokes are funny, though they are too vulgar and mean.  They commonly joke on the not-so-handsome  guys and not-so pretty girls or say/act something obscene but in fairness, they had a disclaimer about their jokes before they started the show.  Generally, it was all fun.  One thing I did not like about going to the comedy bar, I smelled like a huge chimney of cigarette smoke.  The whole area was a a smoking area.  I was fetched by my dad, mom and sister in Ayala.  My sister told me, "Ate, ang baho mo!  Amoy sigarilyo ka!"  I was like, "Yeah, alam ko.  Ang baho talaga pati ung buhok ko."

We came in 8:30 pm and went home 2:30am.  The show wasn't finished yet but we wehnt home because we're all tired and sleepy.  Not because of the show, but because most of us came from work.  Anyway, here are more pictures of us in Punchline.

Try and Try Until I Die
Jan 8, 2009

So nag-apply ako sa 4 na accounts for TL post.  All failed.  Haay..

Ganito kasi ang story, my account is moving out of Sykes.  And we are given the chance to either stay with Sykes or move out with the account.  I opt to stay with Sykes.  I've been here for almost 4 years and I feel that I have better opportunities here than staying out with the account.  Let's call my account, E.

Not only that, their package is a bit bad compared to Sykes in terms of benefits and salary increase.

Here's the catch.  If I stay with Sykes, I'll be given 30 days to find an account to transfer to and if I fail to do so, I will be forced to resign.  If I resign, I have to pay my training bond which would have to expire til August 2009.

If I move with E, I will not find growth and I hate some of the people there.  If I do that, I may only stay until my binding contract and find another job.

I'll try to apply again.  Hope there is one for me.  AJA AJA!!!  FIGHTING!!!

Sexmas Orgy with Trident People
Dec 27, 2008

We had a christmas party together with the ex-tridel people at Ben's condo last Dec 19, 2008.  We had so much fun, food, gifts, games and beer.

Our theme for the party is "SEX".. Yes it is.  All that you can imagine.  But we did not have sex in the party. (we're not that dirty, hehe)  It was fun to see all the people you haven't seen for quite some time and there were additions to the group.  I was with Tridel year 2005 for only three months.  Eventhough,  I had good friends.

More pictures at my Multiply page.  Hope to see the whole barkada again in Erwin's despedida party.

UP Lantern Parade 2008
Dec 18, 2008

We lightened up the UP Acad Oval with colorful floats and costumes as we gear up to the UP Lantern Parade last December 17, 2008.  As part of the College of Fine Arts, we prepared floats with a theme of carnival.  From caged animals to popular carnival rides, from circus acts to magical creatures, anything under the carnival.  It was a good way to start our christmas vacation since the lantern parade is the last day in December that we are at school.

Here are our pics.

We started to parade from the College of Fine Arts around 5pm and headed to the Acad Oval.  It sure was a very tiring day but It was fun.  Isaac wore a cockroach costume and was delighted by a lot of people.

Our college is not part of the contest because Fine Arts was considered a Hall of Famer.  Eventhough, all students in this college still give their efforts to participate in this activity.  Everyone had fun and I'm sure there's a lot to see next year.

Tell Me That You Love Me Lyrics by Regine Velasquez
Dec 5, 2008

Tell Me That You Love Me Lyrics by Regine Velasquez

So far away on a cold, lonely night
If I could only hear your voice,
then I’d be alright
Tell me that you love me,
Tell me that you care
I just want to hear your voice
Come floating through the air
Telephones are lonely
Tell me you’re alright
I just want to feel you near
When I lay down tonight.

I’d give anything to see your face
Just to share the silence of your eyes
Your love is something no one can replace
While I’m gone I don’t want you to cry
Please don’t cry.

Tell me that you love me,
Tell me you’re okay
Telephones are lonely
It sounds so far away
Tell me that you need me
Tell me it’s alright
I just want to hear your voice
When I lay down tonight.

I’d give anything to taste your kiss
Just to feel your body touching mine
It hurts me to be wanting you like this
So tell me that you love me one more time
One more time…

Tell me that you love me
Tell me you’re alone
I just want to hear your voice
I’m so far from home
Tell me that you love me,
Tell me that you care
I just want to hear your voice
Come floating through the air.

Tell me that you love me,
Tell me that you care
I just want to hear your voice
Come floating through the air
Telephones are lonely
Tell me you’re alright
I just want to feel you near
When I lay down tonight.

Ang Maging Bata
Nov 18, 2008

To Be Young... Again...  This is what I want to express in my painting.  This is an entry to UP ArtFair 2008.  Our theme was carnival.  And when I think of carnival, I imagine kids excited while in the line to the entrance of the carnival.  Even those young-at-hearts, I see them giggling seeing the outrageous rides that they can view from afar.

Before I painted this, me and my teammates went to Enchanted Kingdom for our support's 4th anniversary.  I was inspired by the thrill of going to the carnival even if this is my fourth time to go there.  While we were on our way to EK, each one of us had our share of stories to tell about the rides that we rode in EK.  We were just like kids.

Back to the ArtFair, unfortunately, my artpiece was not sold.  But it's ok.  At least I was able to express my feelings through an image.  I hope that when people see my work, they feel the breeze of air touching their face even in the dawn of their life.

Thanks to OJ, Erwin and Larry for being with me in the ArtFair.
